Privacy

Short version: this preview site collects almost nothing, and the service is designed never to see your keys or the contents of your instructions.

What this preview site collects

Only what you type into the partner form on the lawyers and partners page (name, firm, practice area, jurisdiction, email, an optional bar number, and an optional note), or the optional email box after the readiness quiz. It is emailed to our team so we can reply to you. The form does not keep a copy on the website.

The site uses no advertising, no third-party analytics, and no third-party scripts, fonts, or trackers. It sets no cookies. The only counting we do is described under “Simple counts” below.

The readiness quiz

Your answers stay in your browser and are not sent to us. When you answer the first question, the page sends a bare “a quiz was started” signal to be counted (see “Simple counts”). It contains nothing about you or your answers. If you choose to enter an email at the end, we receive that email, your score, your score band, and your wallet type (for example, “recovery phrase”), and nothing else. Leaving the email box empty sends nothing. To be removed, write to us using the form.

Simple counts

To learn whether anyone uses the site, we keep a tally on our own server of three things, as one number per day for each: how many times the readiness quiz was started (the first question answered), how many quiz email boxes were submitted, and how many partner forms were submitted. That is all that is stored for this. There is no IP address, browser or device information, cookie, or anything else that says who you are, and no outside service is involved. The counts are not linked to the email or the form you send. The quiz skips its signal if your browser sends Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control. The letter, plan, simulator and heir claim pages are not part of any counting.

Separately, to stop spam, the form handler uses a scrambled (hashed) form of the visitor’s connection address only as the name of a small temporary file, so it can limit how often a form is submitted. That file holds no other information, and it is not part of the counts.

The encrypted letter demo

Everything happens in your browser. The text you type, your passphrase, and the locked result are never sent to us, and the page makes no network requests. Closing the tab clears them.

The plan, simulator and heir claim demos

These also run entirely in your browser. Your letter, passphrase and shares are never sent to us. The plan settings you choose (heir names, intervals) are passed to the simulator in the page link and kept in your browser tab only. They are not sent to us, and they disappear when you close the tab.

What we ask you not to send

Do not send seed phrases, private keys, passwords, wallet addresses, or confidential client information. We will never ask for them.

How your information is used

To reply to your inquiry and to decide whether to work together. We do not sell your information.

The future service

When the planning service launches, this page will be replaced with a full policy that lists exactly what is stored (contact details, check-in schedule, and an encrypted file we cannot open) and how to export or delete it.
